MyVietTranslation Principal
I have been a Professional Interpreter and Translator since 1998. I also have 25 years of experience working in the social and community services sector in different roles as a Social Welfare Worker, Counsellor, Community Development Worker, Community Educator and Project Manager with both mainstream and multicultural communities. In 2016, I taught the Advanced Diploma Course in Translating from English to Vietnamese at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
I obtained the Bachelor of Arts Degree, graduated with Distinction in Multicultural Studies at RMIT in 1995. In 1998, I completed the Graduate Diploma course in Interpreting and Translating at Deakin University and was accredited Professional Interpreter and Translator, English-Vietnamese languages by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). I completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at Victoria University in 2013. I am a member of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators Inc. (AUSIT).
